Star Baby: Nicole Kidman & Keith Urban’s Baby Uggs It Up

I think there is some kind of law in place that Aussies Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban have to put a pair of the Australian born Ugg boots on their daughter, Sunday. It’s a point of national pride, right? Here Keith Urban was spotted carrying their 16-month-old daughter while she donned a pair of classic suede boots in sand available, um, at all good shoe shops – and some of the crappier ones, too!

Not so great in the sizzling summer we’re all set to have – but maybe now’s the time to get them, when there isn’t a rush on them. Like there is in autumn. Maybe?

Star Mum: Camila Alves Has Got Some Shiny Legs

Camila Alves, Matthew McConaughey’s baby mamma, was spotted out and about going shopping for baby clothes the other day. It’s time to stock up again, since she and Matthew will be welcoming a new child soon(ish). For her spree, the knocked-up Camila bundled up in boots and a bulky sweater, but she also sported some shiny skin tight leggings. You can steal this legging look from American Apparel with their black Lamé version available here for $US46. These aren’t maternity leggings, but can be worn for the beginning stages of a bump.

It’s Pictionary Man!

Trying to play a game meant for the 13 and up set with a three and a half year old may not be the best idea. But even with being about 10 years too young to play, my daughter loved Pictionary Man. This version takes the classic drawing game and takes it to a whole new 3D level.

The mummy-like man has an electonic heel that gives the players the clues of what to draw. Instead of merely doodling on paper, you draw on the Pictionary Man and his two accessories. Your attempts at drawing greatness or failure are easy to whip off. And there are over 2000 clues so there are oodles play potential.

But back to my three and a half year old. She had no idea what any of the clues meant…there was no way she could successfully draw out the clues ‘Carny’ or Sigmund Freud. But she did just love randomly drawing on the Pictionary Man. Sure we couldn’t guess any of the things she drew, but her temporary artworks were still worth it!

Modern Felt Xmas Stocking

Fab Clock Helps Parents Get More Sleep!

Every parent wants to sleep in. This OK to Wake! clock might do the trick for some kids. It turns green when you set the time you want your child to get out of bed. It also is a nightlight that glows yellow.

When my son received this he was very excited to put it in his room. We haven’t implemented the OK to Wake! times yet but I can see it working for children a little older than three. If it doesn’t work to keep your child in bed, at least it is functional as an alarm clock.

Included are two different interchangeable coloured bezels. One is a pink flower and the other a green bug. It’s designed by the same company that created the Tick Talk.

I love the above bedding set and it looks very much like the below bedding set (after the jump). The difference is the above twin set, Love and Nature Bedding Collection by Circo, is only $US69.99 for a twin flat sheet, fitted sheet, pillow case, comforter and pillow sham.

This one, the one below, Brooke Bedding from Pottery Barn Kids, is $US127 for the twin quilt and $US59 for the twin sheet set. The Love and Nature Circo bedding set is unbelievably cute with owls, hedgehogs, squirrels, mushrooms, trees, and flowers in the prettiest colour combination of pink, brown, orange, yellow, green and blue.
