Okay, we know the gorgeous mother of three likes plastic surgery, but wasn’t it a bit presumptuous of W magazine to liposuction Demi Moore’s thigh without her approval?

Johnny Depp Drunkest Man In NYC (Brilliant Video)

After an evening out with punk legend Patti Smith in New York on Wednesday night, the newly re-crowned Sexiest Man Alive, one J Depp, looked like he was back on the set of Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.

Always the gentleman, Johnny did take the time to sign a few autographs on his way out of the restaurant, but I’d like to see if they were even halfway intelligible.

I guess it’s true that fatherhood has really mellowed Johnny out, because he sure can’t hold his booze like he used to … you know, back when he partied with people like Courtney Love. He pretty much had to be dragged to his car.

Fairly embarrassing, especially if his Jack and Lily Rose watch TMZ, but I suppose everybody deserves the chance to get totally sh*t-hammered every now and again with impunity. I actually envy him, in a weird way. Not the stonking hangover he must have had on Thursday, but definitely the cutting loose bit the night before…

In other Johnny Depp news, it looks like he will be revisiting his role as Captain Jack Sparrow in the next instalment of the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise, even though it was reported that he would back out. I suppose the $33.6M offer was too good to refuse.

Aye Carumba! Coldplay’s Chris Martin To Star On The Simpsons

Chris Martin is getting animated – the Coldplay frontman is set to make an appearance on The Simpsons. Actually, this will be Martin’s second appearance – he appeared with his band on the series earlier this year. But sorry all you Chris Martin fans – he won’t be taking it all off like Marge Simpson did for Playboy.

Martin will be appearing as a new character — Ladies’ Man Ricardo Bomba who was created by fan Peggy Black. Black won a competition that is part of the series’ 20th anniversary celebration – her entry was selected by a panel of judges including the show’s executive producer Al Jean. “He’s someone that all the women love and all the men want to be,” Peggy said of Ricardo.

I’ll bet Martin’s and wife Gwyneth Paltrow’s kids are excited about this latest turn of events. How cool would it be to see your dad on The Simpsons?!

Pamela Anderson Digs Herself A Hole

I knew Pamela Anderson was on something. She admitted, in an interview with British talk show host Jeremy Kyle, that she has tried cocaine. Oh wait! She only tried it. So what’s her excuse?

She said, “Well I’ve tried it and I don’t like it. I’m completely hyper and it actually doesn’t work for me. I’ve dabbled in things.”

She says she still likes to get crazy sometimes. “I haven’t had a drink in a month, I don’t drink. Champagne – sometimes I’ll drink it and I’ll get a little crazy, doing backflips and, you know, wrestling people on the floor, but I’m taking a break right now, my friend calls it ‘detox so you can retox’.”

Sounds like a great example for her kids. “Detox to Retox,” that sounds like something you do Monday to Wednesday while at Uni and waiting for the weekend.

Nicole Kidman Says She Isn’t Really Into Fetish Stuff

Nicole Kidman is saying that comments she made to a British men’s magazine concerning her strange sexual habits were taken out of context. Yeah, right – and I’ll bet Tom Cruise doesn’t sleep in footie pyjamas patterned with Scientology logos, either.

Kidman recently told British GQ that she’s “explored obsession. I’ve explored loss and love in terms of being in a grief-stricken place, I’ve explored strange sexual fetish stuff… I’ve explored the mundane aspect of marriage, and monogamy.” But now the Aussie actress is saying she was talking about her film work.

“That’s what I said in relation to my work,” she said. “They left that part out. In terms of my work, yeah, I’m interested in exploring love, and so that comes in all different forms.

“And that’s what I want to do in terms of my private life, I’d never reveal what I’ve explored in my private life.”

I wonder what the reason is for the backtracking? I’m thinking she might have been a bit uncomfortable knowing those comments were out there for her kids to read – no kid wants to picture mummy dressed in vinyl and swinging from a trapeze. Although, they could just watch Moulin Rouge for an eyeful of that…

Reese Witherspoon Is Obsessed With Garbage

Reese Witherspoon really talked a load of old rubbish last week while she was on US chat show The Tonight Show With Conan O’Brien.

“I like to throw things away. I’m obsessed with garbage,” she said. “After a holiday or a birthday, I have tonnes and tonnes of garbage and it always overflows and I always sort of peek out late at night and look at the neighbours’ garbage can and it’s, like, empty. They’re like these amazing people that have no trash.

“So, if I have a particularly bad day, where I have a lot of extra garbage, I go and take my garbage and put it in theirs,” Reese said. “I also put on rubber boots if there’s too much garbage and I’ll stand on the garbage and smash the garbage down… I’m, like, a garbage compactor.”

She takes her garbage and puts it into her neighbour’s rubbish bin when she’s having a bad day? Who does that?

Amanda Peet Compares Parenting To A Plane Crash

Amanda Peet has only been a mother for a little more than 2 years, but she’s already dishing out sage parenting advice.

And that wasn’t sarcasm.

In the December issue of US magazine, Self , Peet talks about how she survives raising daughter Frances ‘Frankie’ Pen.

“You have to put on your own oxygen mask before you put on others,” Amanda says. In other words, you have to take care of yourself in order to be able to take care of your kids. Although the actress admits, “It’s a good metaphor for parenting, but it’s really hard to do sometimes.”

Preach it, sister!

Amanda goes on to talk about how women often battle with the idea of putting themselves first. “A lot of women feel that if they’re exerting energy in different areas of their life…it’s automatically detrimental to the child,” Peet says. “I think the exact opposite is true. Children need to have a role model who is able to identify her passions and go after them.”

Amanda – can I call you Amanda? – I think you’ve hit the nail right on the head.

Meghna Gulzar Is Pregnant

Writer, director and all-round shining star of Indian movies, Meghna Gulzar, is six months pregnant. Meghna is due in February and is said to be excited about the upcoming birth.

“Meghna has been keeping a very low profile these days. She is six months pregnant. She was supposed to start her film Milte Hain this year, but had to push it further due to the pregnancy. Her parents, Gulzar and Rakhee are very happy.”

“It’s a happy time for me and the whole family. I am excited about it.”

I couldn’t find anything to confirm whether she is married or not, but I imagine she is, otherwise everyone might not be so happy about it – or talking about it in public. Not in her culture, anyway.

Whatever though, right? As long as she’s happy, everything else takes a backseat.

Congrats Meghna. We’re happy for you and your family.

Penn’s dalliance was one Jessica White, a 25-year-old Sports Illustrated swimsuit model. (Sean likes the young Sports Illustrated swimsuit model types, apparently.) While there had been reports of Sean and Jessica actually going out, neither confirmed it was true until now. Alas, Penn’s kids will remain stepmum-less for now, because Jessica told Tyra the two are no longer together.
